Hosting & server log files

This website is hosted as a static site on web space in Germany. For technical reasons, the web server automatically processes information such as IP address, date and time of the request, and the browser used (server log files) whenever the site is accessed. This data is used exclusively to ensure the secure and stable operation of the website and is not combined with other data sources.

Getting in touch

If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, request) solely to handle your enquiry, based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures or contract performance).

Booking via Smoobu

Availability checks and bookings run through the embedded booking system provided by our service provider Smoobu GmbH. As soon as you interact with the booking widget, content is loaded directly from Smoobu's servers, and the data required for booking (e.g. name, contact details, payment data) is transmitted to Smoobu and its payment processor Stripe. This is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance). For information on data protection at Smoobu and Stripe, please see their respective privacy policies.

Google Maps (location page)

On the location page, you can optionally display our location as a map. The Google Maps map only loads once you actively click "Show map" – only then is a connection established to Google Ireland Limited's servers, and data such as your IP address may be transmitted to Google. This is based on your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). No Google component loads without a click. For information on data protection at Google, please see Google's privacy policy.

YouTube video (homepage)

On the homepage, we optionally embed a video from YouTube. The video only loads once you actively click the play button – only then is a connection established to Google Ireland Limited's servers (operator of YouTube), and data such as your IP address may be transmitted. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) for this. This is based on your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). No YouTube component loads without a click.
